Toward An Economy of the People: Bringing Heart and Humanity to Money
It matters to me to bring compassion and humanity to money. I see much suffering in regards to economy and currency, and have not been a stranger to it, either. But when we meet ourselves and others with love and empathy, we begin to see clearly, and can make wise and peaceful choices. At the basis of meaningful sustainability is the relationship with oneself, and one's connection within the whole. Therefore I strive to facilitate personal empowerment, clarity, and conscious choice.
For one, through designing systems that cooperate with the way you think. I help my clients create a financial tracking structure that works for them, works with them, and makes them more easily prone to tracking their money.
And secondly, through clarifying what your unique relationship with money looks like: Not to follow a previous paradigm trajectory, but to discover in your own heart what money means to you, and what qualities matter to you in your relationship with currency. I encourage people to participate in their personal and our collective economy with gusto: with passion, clarity, and competence.
I work this way, because I don't see the existing model working for most people. Too many stay behind, not just economically, but too much soul substance and meaning get lost. A truly functional, life-serving economy is participatory, inclusive of and sustainable for all. It needs to work for everyone, and be nourishing enough that every member of humanity is naturally drawn to participate and express themselves in it. And so the way I see it, a new model is emerging, waiting to be recognized and shaped by all of us.
How do we recognize this new model? How can we know how to shape it so it truly serves sustainability, belonging, and partnership? I am convinced the key resides in each of our hearts and being, and so, in order to know our new economy, we need to know ourselves. Knowing ourselves, we act from integrity and bring forth what is of service to all.
Toward an economy of the people. To the thriving of us all.
